Families
At St. John's we recognize that our children are full participants in our life together
This is especially true during worship! We take our children into account when planning our worship times.
We now also feature a kid space to the side of the Sanctuary. There you'll find books, children's tables, crafts and activities for families to make use of during the service. There is also a door connecting to our lounge with comfortable seating for those who might need a quiet break.
Other family ministry activities have included...
- Family movie nights
- Take-home activities for families to do together that follow the Church Seasons!
- Camp-in-a-Box program where families are supplied with items to help children get the most out of their summer
- Hosting a Blessing of the Backpacks as kids return to school. This is an outdoor event where we bless our kids (and teachers) at the star of the academic year.
